Ab Juni 2010 fliegt der komfortable Airbus jeden Tag Mittags ab Zürich. Empfehlenswert wäre es unter der Woche zu fliegen, da der Airbus meistens nur zur Hälfte belegt ist. Tatsache ist, fast immer hatte ich bis anhin 3 Sitzplätze zur Verfügung und konnte mich lang austrecken.
12 1/2 Std. später ist man in Singapur. Zwei 1/2 Std Aufenthalt in Singapur, herrlich um sich dem Klima anzupassen oder zu shoppen. Von den vielen Reisen, die ich erleben durfte, ist der Singapurer Flughafen einer der Schönsten. Dann geht es noch 2 1/2 Std. weiter nach Denpasar. Da Sie Ihre Uhr 6 Std. vorstellen müssen, kommen Sie am nächsten Tag, Mittags in Denpasar an. Wollen Sie vom Flughafen sofort in den Norden um ab dem ersten Tag Ihre Villa zu beziehen, werden Sie auf Ihren Wunsch selbstverständlich vom Chauffeur abgeholt. Möchten Sie eine oder mehrere Nächte im Süden verbringen, können Sie über Ihr Reisebüro ein Hotelzimmer buchen.
Natürlich können Sie am Ende Ihres Aufenthaltes in der Villa Jakaranda, im Süden in einem Hotel nochmals ein paar Tage anhängen. Rückflug jeden Tag um 18 Uhr. Ob direkt zum Flughafen oder zum Abschluss im Hotel, Sie werden vom loyalen und sehr erfahrenen Chauffeur Ketut begleitet.
Alle Ausflüge, die Sie in Bali unternehmen wollen empfehle ich Ketut, er ist der Beste! Ketut ist ein selbstständiger Chauffeur, der sicher und überlegt fährt und die Insel wirklich kennt. Ob nach Lovina oder dann Retour nach Denpasar der Chauffeur samt Wagen und Benzin kostet eine Strecke 600.000 Rupiah (ca. CHF 60.-). Von Denpasar nach Lovina, oder umgekehrt, sind es ca. 80 km. Die Strassen sind gut befahrbar, somit beträgt die reine Fahrzeit ca. 3 Std, da man nur über Bedugul (Höhe 1300m.) in den Norden kommt. Auf dieser Höhe gibt es ein wunderbares Restaurant mit atemberaubende Aussicht. Auch Bedugul selber, mit seinem einheimischen Markt ist sehenswert. Ketut kennt die schönsten Aussichtspunkte, so bin auch ich immer wieder überwältigt von der Fülle und Vielfalt Bali’s.

You will be arriving in Denpasar from Singapore. It would be best to consult
your travel agent. The price from Zurich via Singapore to Denpasar and back
with Singapore airline’s varies between CHF 1’400 and CHF 1’800 .
As of June 2010 there is a daily Airbus that flies from Zurich airport to
Singapore around noon. It would be advisable to fly during the week since
the aircraft will typically only be half occupied. So far I’ve mostly had three seats to myself and was therefore able to stretch out comfortably.
Twelve and a half hours later the plane touches down in Singapore. There is a
two and a half hour stay in Singapore, which allows you to adapt to the climate
or to do some shopping. From the many airports that I have seen Singapore is
one of the most beautiful. Then, after another two and a half hours you will
finally touch down in Denspar around noon of the next day local time (Don’t
forget to adjust your watches (GMT+7)). If you would like to immediately travel
north to spend your first day in your Villa we will gladly send our driver
for you. If you would prefer to spend a night or two in Denpasar you should
consult with your travel agency and make a booking in one of the local hotels.

It is easily possible to add a few days to your trip at a hotel at Villa Jakaranda, in the south of the island, at the end of your journey. The return flight to Singapore leaves every day at 6pm. You’ll be accompanied by our loyal and highly experienced driver Ketut, be that on your way directly to the airport or after your stay at a hotel.

Ketut is a self-employed driver who drives safely and who really
knows the island. The journey from Denpasar to Lovina costs 500.000 Rupiah.
, all included, and it takes about three hours due to the fact
that the north is only accessible via Bedugul. Bedugul is about 1300meters high
and there are breathtaking views as well as a wonderful restaurant. Bedugul itself
is also worth a look with its local market. Ketut knows all the best vantage
points and so even I keep finding myself overwhelmed anew by Bali’s beauty and
diversity.
